Wedding questions, answered
How far in advance should we book?
For peak wedding season (May through October), we recommend reaching out 12–18 months ahead. Off-peak dates are sometimes available with as little as 3–4 months’ notice, so it’s always worth asking about your date.
How much does DME cost for a wedding?
Wedding packages start from $8,000. Every proposal is custom-quoted based on your date, venue, travel and add-ons. After your consultation you’ll receive our complete 2026–27 Wedding Collection pricing guide with full package breakdowns and add-on pricing.
Do you cover the ceremony and cocktail hour too?
Yes. Every package covers your whole wedding, from ceremony through last dance: speakers and wireless microphones for the ceremony, custom processional and recessional music, cocktail hour music, dinner and toasts, then the full reception.
Can we choose our songs?
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Every wedding includes a planning session where we build your do-play and do-not-play lists together in detail.
DJ, DME AllStars, or both?
You choose. Packages range from DJ / MC Exclusive to a DJ with up to five live musicians. Many couples combine both for the best of each: the range of a DJ with the energy of the DME AllStars. We’ll help you pick on your consultation call.
Will you work with our planner and venue?
Yes, and we prefer it. DME coordinates directly with your planner so every musical cue and timeline moment lands on time. An onsite manager, sound engineer, lighting engineer and DME technicians handle everything, so your planner won’t manage a single cable.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. DME has performed in 20 states and 10 countries. Travel details are simply factored into your custom proposal.
What happens on the consultation call?
It’s a relaxed 30-minute Zoom call with Dean, Monday–Thursday, 10am–6pm Arizona time. We talk through your wedding, your music and the experience you want, with no obligation. Afterward you’ll get your pricing guide and a personalized proposal.
