How Much Does Wedding Entertainment Cost in Arizona? (2027 Guide)

October 26, 2026
5

Wedding entertainment cost depends on four things: how many performers, how many hours, how much production and the crew behind it. At DME, packages run from $8,000 for a DJ with full production to $17,500 for a DJ with a five-piece live band, all including crew, setup and taxes.

What you are actually paying for

Wedding entertainment pricing comes down to four things: how many performers you hire, how many hours they cover, how much production comes with them, and who is on the mic. A DJ alone is the starting point. Every live musician, every extra hour and every piece of lighting adds to it.

The four biggest cost drivers

  • Talent. Each musician is a professional you are booking for the whole day. Touring-level players cost more, and they are worth it.
  • Coverage. Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception each need their own sound. Full-day coverage costs more than reception only.
  • Production. Speakers, subwoofers, wireless mics, uplighting, wash lights and cold sparklers. This is what makes a ballroom feel like a concert.
  • Crew. An onsite manager plus sound and lighting engineers means you and your planner never touch a cable.

DME's 2026-27 pricing

We publish our pricing because couples deserve to plan with real numbers. Every package includes delivery, setup, taxes, sound for the whole day, 24 wireless uplights, 4 wash movers, cold sparklers and a full crew.

  • The Exclusive, $8,000: DJ / MC Dean Michaels with full lighting and crew.
  • The Signature, $11,500: DJ plus 2 musicians (sax and drums).
  • The AllStars, $14,500: DJ plus 3 musicians (sax, trombone, drums), with a ceremony violinist and cocktail hour sax. Our most popular.
  • The Encore, $16,000: DJ plus 4 musicians.
  • The Headliner, $17,500: DJ plus 5 musicians with full horns.

How to budget smart

Decide what matters most first. If the dance floor is the priority, put your money into the reception lineup. If the ceremony is the emotional center, a live violinist does more than any upgrade later in the night. And book early: peak spring and fall dates in Arizona fill 12 to 18 months out, and the best musicians go first.

The full breakdown of every package and add-on is in our 2027 Wedding Guide, which you get as soon as you request a consultation.

How far ahead should I book?

For spring and fall Arizona weddings, 12 to 18 months ahead gives you the best choice of dates and musicians.
